Building a Learning Resource Exchange (LRE) for Schools
February 18-19, 2008 – Leuven, Belgium
This workshop is designed for technical staff (with a working knowledge of the Java
programming language) of organisations that wish to:
Make their educational content available via the Learning Resource Exchange (LRE) for
schools and/or
Get access to the learning resource of the LRE.
The workshop will provide an in-depth introduction to the technology used by the LRE (protocols and APIs). The developers will then have an opportunity to produce and test the code necessary to connect a system (repository or learning system) to the LRE federation. Attendance at the workshop is free of charge but delegates must pay their own travel and subsistence.
